Last week I picked Cal up from my mom's house and he was bright-eyed and awake when I arrived. As I walked up to him and called his name, he turned towards me and let out a smile so big that it filled his entire face up! It was one of the best feelings I have ever had, and it definitely made all of those long nights worth it. I was beginning to wonder if he really knew who I am or if it was all in my head, but he confirmed my thoughts with that giant grin. That little boy really can melt you!
