School's Back In Session

So school has started up again and our little man is now 6 months old. It's hard to believe that he's already half way to a year! He's been eating different baby foods mixed with rice cereal for almost a month now and loves it. Cal is able to sit up on his own (although he's still a little wobbly), roll over from his back to his tummy (he has not interest in rolling from his tummy to his back right now, after all that hard work why would he want to go back?), and has started lunging forward from the sitting position when he's see something that he wants (signs of wanting to crawl, uh-oh). He loves to snuggly with mommy and daddy when it's time to go to sleep, and sleeps best when he's in his pea pod.
We're still battling with his eczema, and have even bought him a fan that clips to his car seat or stroller so that he keeps cool even when we're out. His skin is so fair and he breaks out when he comes into contact with just about any fragrance, detergent, or lotion that isn't fragrance-free and ultra-mild. It makes letting others who want to hold him a little tricky because we usually have to say no, especially when he's already itchy. He's an amazing little boy though, and everyday Matt and I find ourselves wondering how we ever lived without him. It's great to see Matt's face light up when Cal catches his ball and tries to throw it back. I've never seen a 6 month old that can catch like he does, but I might be a little biased :).
